The Silent Art Auction, BookExpo Wednesday, May 29, 2019

My contribution to the 2019 Silent Art Auction to raise funds for the American Booksellers for Freedom of Expression (ABFE) and Every Child a Reader, a charity dedicated to inspiring a love of reading in children across America. https://www.bookexpoamerica.com/en/Sessions/77058/2019-Childrens-Book-Art-Silent-Auction

Last week I visited the kindergarteners at DuPont Elementary and read Lily’s Cat Mask. Yesterday I received this photo with the kids wearing the masks they made!

I have new picture book coming out from Candlewick in the summer of 2020! Look for more updates soon!

THE NEW YEAR FOR TREES
Yay trees! Tu B’Shevat (Hebrew: ט״ו בשבט‎) is a holiday on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Shevat. In 2018, Tu B’Shevat begins at sunset on January 30 and ends at nightfall on January 31. Pictured is a detail from Sadie’s Snowy Tu B’Shevat, written by Jamie Korngold.
